American College of Radiology (ACR) members and radiologists in training now have access to a webinar from the College’s Government Relations staff covering the mechanics, misconceptions, and state and federal policy implications of surprise billing, the practice of billing patients for unsuspected gaps in their health insurance coverage.
The webinar features lectures by Christopher Sherin, ACR director of legislative affairs and Eugenia Brandt, ACR director of state affairs, and was originally presented on Sept. 6, 2018, as part of the Radiology Advocacy Network (RAN) Journal Club video conference series. A recorded question-and-answer session followed their formal presentations.
The next RAN Journal video conference will be in January. Please contact the ACR’s Melody Ballesteros at email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org, if you are interested in participating or have topic you would like discussed.
