The National Lung Cancer Roundtable (NLCRT) – chaired by radiologist Ella Kazerooni, MD, FACR – has launched a new website with resources to better inform referring physicians and patients on the importance of annual screening for high risk patients.
Kazerooni, executive sponsor of the American College of Radiology Lung Cancer Screening 2.0 Committee and chair of the ACR Thoracic Imaging Panel, is also vice chair of the NLCRT Provider Engagement and Outreach Task Group.
ACR members Daniel C. Sullivan, MD, and Michael McNitt-Gray, PhD, serve as chair and vice chair (respectively) of the NLCRT Advanced Imaging Task Group.
Charles White, MD, Vice Chair, Clinical Affairs and Interim Section Chief of Trauma Radiology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, chairs the Lung Cancer Screening Implementation Strategies Task Group.
Several other ACR members and staff serve on various NLCRT task groups.
