The American College of Radiology’s (ACR’s) headquarters in Reston, VA, has been chosen as the site for the November 18–22 Annual Board of Directors Meeting and Strategic Planning Session of the Conference of Radiation Control Board Directors (CRCPD).
The CRCPD Board will convene there to develop strategies to carry out its mission and to plan for its May 4–7, 2020, annual meeting in Williamsburg, VA.
Staff members representing the ACR, American Association of Physicists in Medicine, American Society for Radiation Oncology and relevant federal agencies will attend the planning portion of this month’s directors meeting to discuss proposed topics, panels and abstracts for the annual meeting. Its theme will be “2020: Vision for the Future.”
The ACR and CRCPD have had a longstanding collaborative relationship dedicated to advancing issues of importance to radiology. Through its conferences and various information-sharing mechanisms, the CRCPD serves as a critical resource for federal agencies and others involved with radiation safety and protection.
