Radiologists who are not already PubMed experts can learn how to master this essential medical literature search engine and associated applications by attending a free online webinar Nov. 9, sponsored by the U.S. National Library of Medicine and National Center for Biotechnology Information.
PubMed for Clinicians will teach you how to search PubMed for the most relevant and recent peer-reviewed medical literature on the scientific advancement and clinical validation of medical procedures and practices. It will explore specific clinical research areas including radiology, radiation oncology and medical physics and will teach you how to optimize your use of PubMed software including setting up email alerts and other functions.
PubMed comprises more than 26 million abstracts and citations for biomedical literature from MEDLINE, life science journals, online books and, in some cases, complete journal articles.
After the live presentation, the webinar will be uploaded to the NCBI YouTube channel. Any related materials will be accessible on the Webinars and Courses page. Register using the link below.
