ACR 2017 Roundtable to Focus on CT Colonography

A roundtable discussion at ACR 2017: The Crossroad of Radiology® will address strategies for CT colonography (CTC) implementation enabling radiologists to apply best clinical and business practices, including expanding opportunities for CTC reimbursement.

Cecelia Brewington, MD, professor of radiology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas and member of the ACR’s Colon Cancer Committee, will moderate the one-hour session at 7 a.m., Tuesday, May 23. Panelists include Kevin Chang, MD; Mark Klein, MD; and ACR economics staff members Kathryn Keysor and Anita McGlothlin.

Participants will learn low-dose CTC image acquisition techniques and the most current methods for bowel cleansing and colon distention, time-efficient image interpretation and clinical pitfall avoidance. They will also be briefed on the status of CTC reimbursement.
