RADPAC®, radiology’s political action committee, continued to perform well despite a dip in contribution dollars raised and the number of contributors in the non-election year of 2017.
The newly released 2017 RADPAC Annual Report, available on the RADPAC website, indicates it still raised more than $1.2 million from more than 3,100 radiologist contributors last year. For the tenth straight year, RADPAC ranked in the top three performers among the more than 25 specialty physician political action committees in both contribution dollars raised and number of contributors (See chart).
RADPAC looks forward to breaking records again in 2018. Efforts toward this goal are starting now with its Annual March Chapter Challenge Campaign (formerly known as RADPAC’s March Madness). Residents, fellows and attending radiologists from every state radiological society will compete for a chance to win $500 from RADPAC.
