David Andrews, a patient-advisor member of the American College of Radiology Commission on Patient-and Family-Centered Care, will be highlighted in a panel session to explore ways to improve the patient health care experience at the upcoming Beryl Institute Patient Experience Conference 2017.
The Patient Experience Conference is the largest independent, non-provider or vendor hosted event bringing together the collective voices of healthcare professionals across the globe to convene, engage and expand the dialogue on improving patient experience.The conference, March 20-22 in Denver, Colorado, including the patient and family panel session, will be carried on Facebook Live.
Andrews, an independent patient advisor, and other ACR PFCC members, recently served as a guest editor for the Society for Participatory Medicine’s Feb. 17 e-news. Andrews’ article, and the e-news overall, focused on patient-centered radiology.
The College has created a special patient- and family-centered care section that includes resources to help radiologists and allied professionals, provide more patient-centered care.
