Priscilla Butler, MS, FACR, senior director of medical physics with the American College of Radiology (ACR), has been honored with the Board of Directors Award for Meritorious Service by the Conference of Radiation Control Program Directors (CRCPD).
The award was presented to Butler at CRCPD’s annual meeting in May. She was previously honored with delivery of the John C. Villforth Lecture at CRCPD’s 2013 annual conference. Her speech was entitled “From MQSA to Imaging Gently and Wisely.”
Butler has been instrumental in the ACR’s strong partnership with CRCPD and in relationship-building between the ACR and state regulatory control programs. Her dedication and expertise as a medical physicist is well-recognized, as demonstrated by her numerous lectures on medical physics, patient safety and other topics. The College enthusiastically congratulates Priscilla for the CRCPD award.
