The American College of Radiology® (ACR®) is providing two symposiums for those interested in building or expanding lung cancer screening (LCS) at their institutions.
On May 11, the ACR, the Colorado Cancer Coalition and the Colorado Radiological Society will gather at the National Jewish Hospital in Denver to address key issues identified in a survey conducted by the Colorado Cancer Coalition on the status and needs of LCS programs in the state.
On May 29, we’ll convene a similar symposium at the Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. The event will include panel discussions, mythbusting information and a networking lunch.
Both symposiums will address key needs and concerns including quality improvement in patient tracking, follow-up of abnormal scans, shared decision making, smoking cessation and other priority topics.
