Mammography Accredited Facility Search


The American College of Radiology is the only national accrediting body for mammography facilities recognized by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

ACR accreditation signifies that: the physicians supervising care have met stringent education and training standards; that the equipment is surveyed regularly by a medical physicist to ensure that it is functioning properly; and that the technologists operating the equipment are certified.

*Note: Mammography accreditation in Iowa, Texas and Arkansas, may be achieved through the FDA-approved state accrediting body. In these states, check with your local mammography facility and make sure it is accredited and MQSA-certified if it does not appear on the ACR list.
