New Revisions to ACR Mammography Accreditation Documents — Siemens & Lorad
Siemens and Lorad recently revised their full-field digital mammography QC Manuals. To be consistent with the required tests for those manufacturers, the ACR has modified its Medical Physicist's Mammography QC Test Summary Forms for the Siemens and Lorad systems. The new forms are now available on the ACR website at www.acr.org. To help you to determine if you have the most recent version, the QC form names on the website now include their revision dates. The links below lead directly to the new documents.

You are only required to submit the appropriate summary form that was applicable to the unit you tested, and that was current at the time of your survey. If you are testing a new installation, it is likely that the newest summary form for the manufacturer of that system would be the most appropriate. (Check the ACR website in those cases.) If you are doing an annual survey on an older piece of equipment, the ACR will accept an older summary form.
