FDA Increases MQSA Inspection Fees
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) recently announced that they will increase mammography facility inspection fees by over $400 for a single unit facility, effective October 1, 2007. The FDA will continue to charge separately for annual and follow-up inspections. Under the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA), all mammography facilities are subject to the inspection.
