Ultrasound in Developing Countries - Photos
The following photographs are from several Jefferson Ultrasound Research and Education Institute (JUREI; Department of Radiology, Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Philadelphia, PA, USA ) affiliate sites located around the world in developing and emerging countries.
Intensive training of the affiliate site teachers (physicians) was performed at JUREI, Philadelphia, PA.
The establishment of these affiliate sites was made possible by a variety of grants with donations of ultrasound equipment and educational materials provided by manufacturers and other organizations.
These photographs demonstrate
- Classrooms and training facilities
- Donated educational materials (text books, videos, etc.) and
- Ultrasound equipment being used for training
