JOINING FOR THE FIRST TIME
Unless your state chapter will be billing you separately (see appropriate State Chapter Reference Table below), please make out one check payable to the ACR to cover both your ACR dues and your state chapter dues, or call 1-800-347-7748 to charge your dues to MasterCard, Visa, or American Express.
REINSTATING A MEMBERSHIP*
- Reinstating Same Year Dropped. If you would like to rejoin the ACR the same year in which your membership was cancelled, you must pay full dues for that year. (NOTE: Your join date will remain intact.)
- Reinstating - Other Than Year Dropped. If you would like to reinstate your ACR membership in a year other than the year in which your membership was cancelled, you owe only current year dues. You owe no back dues. (NOTE: Your join date will reflect the year in which your membership is reinstated. This may affect your future eligibility to become an ACR Fellow.)
*Policies for reinstating state chapter membership vary from one state to another. Check with your state chapter for its reinstatement procedures.
DUES WAIVERS
- Fellowship Waiver. If you are a dues-paying member and enter a fellowship, you may ask to have your dues waived for the following year. A request for waiver must be made for each year while in the fellowship. Due Date for Your Request & Confirmation from Program Director: July 1 of the year in which fellowship will end.
- Financial Hardship. If you are experiencing financial difficulties, you may submit a waiver request for the year's dues. Due Date for Written Request: July 1 of dues year in which assistance is requested.
RETIRED REQUEST
- Dues are owed for the year in which you continue to work. Once you are retired, you may submit a request in writing to transfer to retired status.
