YTB Travel and Cruises is a six year old network marketing company that specializes in selling travel. YTB (YourTravelBiz.com) was founded by a minister who coupled the speed of the internet with the fact that 86 percent of people are booking travel online to form YTB. YTB headquarters is in Wood River, Ill., and is publicly traded under YTBLA.PK.
YTB offers an affinity program to non-profits and corporate organizations, which enables associations to own their own private label travel Web sites. In addition to travel, the sites can offer golf and cruise booking components, a flower shop (via ProFlowers), car purchasing assistance, passport renewal services, event ticket sales, and much more.
40 percent of the commissions generated by the travel Web site are given back to the non-profit organization monthly as passive income when members or supporters use the site to book their leisure or business travel.
