Thrall Elected Chairman of Corporate Board
ACR Fellow James H. Thrall, MD, a member of the ACR Board of Chancellors, has been elected chairman of the board of Mobile Aspects, Inc., a provider of radio frequency identification tracking systems for the health care industry, according to a company press release.
"RFID applications speak to the most fundamental issues facing health care in the United States and around the world; the need to provide higher quality care more safely and at a lower cost," Thrall said in the release.
Thrall is radiologist-in-chief at Massachusetts General Hospital and is the Juan M. Taveras Professor of Radiology at Harvard Medical School. Earlier this week, Thrall was elected to another term on the ACR Board of Chancellors during the College's Annual Meeting and Chapter Leadership Conference.
