Mehidi Hamidi Passes Away
Mehidi Hamidi, DO, a long-time ACR member from Rockford, Ill, passed away December 31 at the age of 76. A native of Iran, Hamidi earned his BA from Nebraska State Teachers College in Kearney and his BS in radiological technology from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine. He earned his DO in 1961 from the College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery in Des Moines, where he completed his internship at Des Moines General Hospital. Following radiology residencies in Cherry Hill, NJ, Columbus, Ohio, and Denver, Hamidi spent more than 30 years in his radiology practice in Warren, Ohio, where he was on the staff of Warren General Hospital and was recognized for his outstanding and dedicated service.
