Exhibits of ACR Member’s Artwork Scheduled
Attention to detail is one of the key requirements for a successful career in radiology. Now, one ACR member is applying that same skill to her artwork. Susan E. Roubal, DO, a resident of Grosse Pointe Park, Mich., will be hosting the first local exhibition of her work beginning October 29 in Marquette; a second exhibit is already scheduled to begin November 19 at a second Marquette location.
According to an October 27 story in The Mining Journal, Roubal “uses vividly colored soft pastels in her rugged landscapes.” She has received numerous awards. In 2003, she was honored as one of the top 100 pastel artists in the world and her work is included in both private and corporate collections.
Regrettably, the article noted, debilitating rheumatoid arthritis has impeded in Roubal’s career as a pediatric radiologist, but has found a new direction through her art.
