Make Your Requests Online to Have an ACR
Speaker for Your Chapter Meeting |
|
||
|
|
Many chapters include ACR
speakers in their meetings by participating in the ACR Chapter Visitation
Program. This program uses ACR funds
to send an ACR speaker to give a presentation on current ACR activities at
your meeting. You can now participate in this
program by completing an online form.
By completing the Chapter Meeting Profile, staff in the Office of
Council and Chapter Services will receive the necessary information to help
find an ACR speaker for your meeting.
Additionally, by filling out this form your chapter will receive ten
points towards a Chapter Recognition Award in the Meetings/Education
category. In order to arrange for a
speaker and to earn points towards the award, your submission must be made at
least three months prior to your meeting. CLICK
HERE for a direct link to the Chapter Meeting Profile form. Please contact Trina Madison with any questions. You may reach her at trinam@acr.org or 800.227.5463, ext. 4998. |

amounts to potential members. Additionally,
this information is necessary for those chapters who have the ACR bill their
members. If your
chapter has not submitted this form yet, please contact Barbara Quattrone at barbaraq@acr.org or 800.347.7748. |

ACR Council Resolution Encourages Chapters
to Implement and Maintain Graduated Dues Systems |
|
||
|
|
On
Oct. 10 a letter went out via email to ACR Chapter Presidents from the ACR
Council Speaker, Paul H. Ellenbogen, MD, regarding graduated dues structures
for chapter members recently out of training. In 2003 the ACR Council passed a resolution encouraging each
chapter to establish and maintain a graduated dues system for those members
who have recently completed their training and that the system reflect that
of the ACR. Dr.
Ellenbogen’s letter explains the ACR graduated dues structure and explains
how your chapter can develop and maintain a similar system. He encourages chapters to review and
update their dues structure for the 2005 dues year. CLICK HERE to
view the letter sent to chapters who already have a graduated dues system. CLICK HERE to
view the letter sent to chapters who do not already have a graduated dues
system. If
you have questions concerning this issue, please contact Barbara Quattrone at
barbaraq@acr.org or 800.347.7748. |
