Sponsoring Members in Training to Attend the AMCLC
Last month, chapter presidents received a mailing from the ACR Office of Council and Chapter Services that asked for names of residents or fellows the chapter will sponsor to attend the 2005 AMCLC. This is a reminder that the December 15 deadline to name sponsored residents or fellows is 6 weeks away.
For more information about sponsoring members in training to attend the AMCLC or for the response form, please see the following documents:

News to Share with Your Members: ACR Executive Education Series
Following the success of the ACR's first executive education course, Business and Financial Principles for Radiologists, 3 more courses have been planned for the upcoming year.
Scheduled for January 29-30, 2005, is an extended version of the financial principles course that was held at this year's AMCLC. Titled Finance and Accounting: From Theory to Practical Application, the course will be held at the Loew's Coronado Bay in San Diego and will introduce radiologists and radiation oncologists to essential financial concepts.
The second course offering will focus on marketing and branding and is titled Marketing, Branding, and Promotions for the 21st Century Radiology Practice. This course, to be held March 5-6 at the Ritz Carlton in Amelia Island, Fla, will cover core principles of marketing, branding, and promoting a professional service in 21st-century America as well as developing practical and cost-effective approaches to promotion and advertising capabilities and services.
A third course, still in development, will be presented at the 2005 AMCLC. Details are forthcoming. For more information on the ACR's executive education courses, e-mail Sarah Tate at saraht@acr.org.
The course brochures are now available. Click here for registration information.
