Thank You for Your Help with Councilor Verification

Thanks to all chapter leaders and executive staff who helped ACR staff update and verify records of councilors and alternate councilors.  The deadline for completing this project is 31 July and at this time we have had responses from almost all chapters.  Thank you!

For those chapters that notified us that you will be holding elections for councilors and alternates in the future, please remember to submit your new rosters to the ACR Office of Council and Chapter Services soon after your elections.  You can do this via email at chapters@acr.org or via fax at 703.262.9319. 

ACR and Some Chapter Memberships Cancelled

The ACR finished billing members and appropriate members of the chapter for the 2003 dues year.  If someone did not pay ACR and/or chapter dues, then his or her ACR and chapter membership were cancelled.   The ACR mailed letters to these people on 9 July.   For states that bill their own members, we left chapter memberships intact if ACR memberships were cancelled.  However, if the chapter requires ACR membership, then we also cancelled the chapter membership.

Reinstating with the ACR and chapters (invoiced by ACR) is very simple.  Once we receive a check or process a credit card, we reactivate the membership with no break in membership.  Please refer members to the ACR toll free number 800.347.7748 if they express an interest in reinstating. 

We sent official notification by email to chapter leaders the week of July 14^th.  Recipients included: Chapter Presidents, Chapter Secretaries, Chapter Executive Directors/Executive Secretaries, Chapter Membership Chairmen and Chapter Mail Recipient.  If there was not an email address on record, we sent the information in the mail.

Radiological Resources Catalog on the ACR Web Site

The ACR recently updated the online catalog of materials and publications.  The 2003 Radiology Resources catalog includes detailed product information, information about products in development and information for placing orders.
