Urgent Call for ACR Accreditation Reviewers – MRI, CT, Nuclear Medicine, and PET
The ACR urgently needs clinical and phantom reviewers for our MR, CT, nuclear medicine, and PET accreditation programs (successful candidates will be compensated for participation as a reviewer).
Reviewers are required to be ACR members, board certified (ABR, ABNM, or ABMP, as appropriate), and must meet Accreditation Program Requirements for an interpreting physician or medical physicist in the diagnostic modality being reviewed. In addition, physicians and physicists must have at least five years of experience and be part of an active practice with at least 50 percent of that practice in the modality being reviewed.
Qualified candidates will be required to participate in a one-day training program (site to be determined) regarding the image evaluation process (candidates will be reimbursed for travel and lodging).
For more information, please contact Paul Gatt at pgatt@acr.org or (800) 227-5463, ext. 4396.
ACR Campus™ Announces Grand Rounds Coming Soon!
On July 31, the ACR Campus will launch its newest, innovative online lecture series—Grand Rounds. The ACR Grand Rounds lecture series focuses on the most up-to-date radiologic curriculum, with each lecture targeting a specific disease state or a challenging condition that radiologists often face in today’s practices. Many of the lectures featured in the Grand Rounds curriculum are designed for those radiologists with access to some of today’s most state-of-the-art imaging equipment.
The Grand Rounds program will be presented in a convenient and appealing online format and features a blue-ribbon faculty with some of the leading names in radiology today, sharing their expertise and experience in radiology. For more information, visit the ACR Web Site or call (800) 227-5463, ext 4040.
Information from ACR Membership
For questions about any of the information above, please contact ACR Membership Services at membership@acr.org or (800) 347-7748.
Chapter Visitation – Have an ACR Speaker at Your Next Meeting
If you’re planning your chapter’s meeting, take advantage of having a member of the ACR leadership on your agenda. Through the Chapter Visitation Program, the ACR covers the cost of sending one speaker to each chapter throughout the calendar year. Typically, the speaker is a member of the ACR Board of Chancellors, Council Steering Committee, or executive staff. The speaker will highlight emerging issues and recent ACR activities and provide a forum for chapter-member input.
For more information on requesting a speaker, please visit the ACR Web site at www.acr.org or contact Adrian Kosmicki at akosmicki@acr.org or (800) 227-5463, ext 4917.
Reminders – Web Site Agreements & AMCLC Evaluations
If you have any questions on either of these items, please contact Trina Zeberlein at tzeberlein@acr.org or (800) 227-5463, ext 4998.
Please Share with Your Members: Upcoming ACR Educational Course
Please consider sharing the following information with your members in any upcoming chapter communication:
