Important Information for Congressional Visit Day

The ACRa Congressional Visit Day will be held Wednesday, May 24 during the 2006 Annual Meeting and Chapter Leadership Conference. This year Hill participants will make their own congressional appointment with their Representative and a designated chapter contact will make the Senate appointments for the chapter's delegation. Be sure to indicate on the AMCLC meeting registration form that you will participate in ACRa's Congressional Visit Day. Please also indicate if you have a relationship with any other Members of Congress so ACR staff can coordinate with that chapter's contact to include you in the appointment scheduling process.

If your chapter has not yet completed a Key Contact form to identify a chapter contact that will coordinate the congressional appointment process on behalf of the chapter, you may access the form on the ACR Web site and submit it via fax to (703) 262-9312. Please contact Ted Burnes at (800) 227-5463, ext. 4949 or by email at tburnes@acr.org if you have any questions.

Membership Update - Chapter Payments, Rosters & Dues Invoices

December chapter payments were sent to chapters last week. If you have any questions about chapter payments contact ACR Membership Services at (800) 347-7748.

Chapter rosters will be sent out next week. Rosters are automatically sent via email and sent via US postal service only when an email address is not available. If you would like to request a hardcopy of your chapter roster please contact Barbara Quattrone at bquattrone@acr.org

The second invoice for membership dues will be sent in mid-February. A more specific date for the invoice mailing will be given in the next Chapter Executive Update. If you have any questions about dues invoices contact ACR Membership Services at (800) 347-7748.

Update from ACR Government Relations

An email from Dr. Borgstede, Chair of the ACR Board of Chancellors, was sent to all members this week to provide an update on ACR's response to the recent actions by Congress to drastically reduce the reimbursement for the technical component of in-office imaging services. Click here to view a letter that was sent to all members of the House of Representatives and the United States Senate. For more information visit the Government Relations section of the ACR Web site.

If you have any questions please contact Josh Cooper at jcooper@acr.org or Jay Greissing at jgreissing@acr.org
