2006 Chapter Leaders' Workshop

The Office of Chapter and Volunteer Development is pleased to invite you to the Chapter Leaders' Workshop to be held from 1:00 – 4:30 pm on Saturday, May 20, during the 2006 AMCLC.

The workshop will provide an opportunity for chapter leaders to learn more about what their peers in other chapters are doing. Topics to be addressed during the meeting will include chapter Web sites, non-dues revenue, meeting planning and membership outreach and communications. Additionally, ACR staff will be on hand to answer questions and provide information on various College resources and programs.

We also invite you to attend a Chapter Leaders’ Breakfast on Monday, May 22 from 7:00 – 8:15 am.

Planning Caucus Meetings for the 2006 AMCLC

It is time to plan for your caucus meeting at the 2006 ACR AMCLC. Caucuses should be scheduled on Sunday, May 21 between 7:00am and 12:00pm and/or on Tuesday, May 23 between 7:00am and 8:15am according to the preliminary program. The opening session of the Council will convene on Sunday at 1:00pm. Reference Committee reports will be available at breakfast on Tuesday and reports will be presented on Tuesday afternoon starting at 1:30pm.

All requests for Caucus meetings must be submitted in writing no later than Wednesday, February 15. Please use the 2006 Caucus Meeting Request form to schedule your caucus meeting time. Fax your request directly to Pamela Mechler, ACR director of meeting services, at (703) 716-4487.

Second Invoice Notices

Second invoice notices will go out on February 10 to members who have not paid their 2006 membership dues. Please contact ACR Membership Services at (800) 347-7748 if you have any questions.

Recommending Members for Appointment to ACR Commissions and Committees

The deadline for chapter leaders to submit names of those individuals that they’d like to recommend for appointment to ACR Commissions and Committees is Friday, Feb. 17. The names submitted will be circulated to staff and commission/committee chairs to be considered for 2006-2007 appointments. Click here for a copy of the form used to submit volunteer names.   • 32nd National Conference on Breast Cancer

    The ACR National Conference on Breast Cancer (NCBC) will take place April 28-30, 2006 in San Diego, California. This conference is an internationally recognized program specifically designed for the diagnostic radiologist and for the radiologic technologist working exclusively in the field of mammography and breast imaging. 20.25 CME credits will be available to attendees. In addition, attendees can view the latest technology in breast imaging in the exhibit hall.
