Act Now to Sponsor Members-in-Training to Attend the 2007 AMCLC and RFS Annual Meeting

Next year marks the 15th anniversary meeting of the ACR Resident and Fellow Section, which will be held in conjunction with the ACR Annual Meeting and Chapter Leadership Conference in Washington, D.C., May 19-23. In recognition of the importance of providing members-in-training with an opportunity to attend these meetings the ACR will once again offer funding to chapters to offset the cost of sponsoring members-in-training. The ACR will provide $2,000 to those chapters that choose to send at least two residents to the annual meeting and $1,000 to those chapters sending only one resident.

The deadline for naming members-in-training to attend next year’s AMCLC is January 15.

Please visit the ACR Web site to access the sponsorship form and the frequently asked questions. You also may contact Yolanda Jones at yjones@acr.org or (800) 227-5463, ext 4496, for additional information.

Please Share with Your Members–Here’s Your Chance to Win an Apple Video iPod

Included with the 2007 dues invoices is a brief ACR Demographics Survey, which, when returned, qualifies members as eligible to win one of several Apple video iPods.

We are collecting demographic information in an effort to make members’ experience in the College a unique and rewarding one. The survey collects information on members and their practice environment. This information will be used to assist us with representing the broader interests of the profession while better understanding the ever-evolving practice of radiology.

The survey can be returned via mail in the yellow reply envelope enclosed with the invoice, or it may be faxed to (703) 264-2093.
