Chapter Leaders' Workshop - Visit the ACR Web site for more information

The 2005 Chapter Leaders' Workshop will be an interactive, in-depth educational event for current and new chapter leaders and executive staff. The workshop will feature content leaders from at least 7 different chapters sharing information on topics that are important to you, including meeting planning and government relations. Content leaders have prepared case studies on their areas of expertise and you can now access these papers on the ACR Web site. Participants will have an opportunity to visit stations manned by each content leader to learn more about their topic area and engage in conversation about their case study. In addition to the chapter content leaders, there will also be ACR staff on hand to answer questions and provide information on various College resources and programs.

Councilor Substitutions at the AMCLC

As was policy last year, individuals who are substituting for councilors will need to be officially listed with the Credentials Committee by 3:30 pm on Sunday in order to be credentialed to vote in the Monday elections. New requests for substitutions will not be accepted for voting on Monday morning. Substitutions for later Council activities will be accepted again beginning at 1:00 pm on Monday afternoon.

If you know of any councilor/alternate substitutions prior to the meeting, please notify staff in the ACR Office of Chapter and Volunteer Development so the substitution can be officially recorded prior to the meeting. The deadline to make substitutions prior to the meeting is Wednesday, April 6.

This notification must be submitted in writing and must include the following:

  • Name of the chapter president, secretary, or executive secretary/director submitting the substitution notification
  • Name of the alternate councilor
  • Name of the councilor the alternate is replacing
  • Indication if the substitution is for the entire meeting or if it is only for specific Council sessions

Your initial username consists of your first and last initials, in lowercase, followed by your 8-digit membership number. Your initial password is your last name-all lowercase, no punctuation or spaces. You can change your username or password at any time after your initial login. Chapter Leaders' Breakfast at the AMCLC
