Your Chance to Comment on the 2006 Practice Guidelines and Technical Standards
ACR members can review and comment on the drafts of the 2006 ACR Practice Guidelines and Technical Standards on the ACR Web site. The comments will be considered for inclusion in the drafts that will be presented for adoption at the 2006 Annual Meeting and Chapter Leadership Conference next spring. There will be 5 comment periods for review of draft guidelines, each lasting 4 weeks.
The first group of drafts will be available for review and comment through Aug 29. Click here to access the drafts.
If you have any questions contact Margaret Wyatt at mwyatt@acr.org or (800) 227-5463, ext. 4491.
Chapter Recognition Point Reports Have Been Sent
Last week all chapters were sent a report showing how many points have been earned towards chapter recognition awards for the 2005 award year. Reports were mailed to chapter presidents and executive directors/secretaries. If your chapter doesn’t have an executive director/secretary then a second copy of your report was sent to the secretary or secretary/treasurers.
Please contact Trina Zeberlein at tzeberlein@acr.org or (800) 227-5463, ext. 4998, if you have any questions.
Councilor Verification Currently in Progress
May 31 was the end date for all councilors with terms ending in 2005 and all alternate councilors. Recently, chapters were sent a memo and asked to verify councilor and alternate councilor rosters so that we can ensure the proper individuals receive appropriate communications between now and the next annual meeting.
Please let us know by Aug 31 how you would like to fill any vacancies or if you would like to make any changes to your councilor and alternate councilor rosters. You may send this information by mail, by e-mail to chapters@acr.org, or by fax at (703) 262-9319.
