Education on the Web
As part of ACR''s ongoing commitment to the continuing education of its members, the College has initiated online educational activities. Lectures from the ACR Categorical Course in Molecular Imaging presented in May 2003 in Washington, D.C., are currently accessible at www.acr.org; several online presentations from PET Imaging for the Radiologist, the popular weekend conference, are in development.
Breast imaging is the focus of the next meeting to be webcast by the College. Lectures presented at Northwestern University medical school''s annual Lynn Sage Breast Imaging Symposium will be available on the ACR''s Web site following the meeting in Chicago, Oct. 1-4, 2003. This multidisciplinary program, co-chaired by Ellen B. Mendelson, M.D., FACR, and R. Edward Hendrick, Ph.D., FACR, has an outstanding faculty. The course focuses on technical and clinical advances in breast imaging and interventional procedures and offers participants a maximum of 29 Category I credits toward the AMA Physician''s Recognition Award. For detailed information, including a faculty listing, go to www.radiology.northwestern.edu and click on Breast Imaging Symposium 2003.
