The candidate must have a Ph.D. in medical physics or physics; at least two years of experience in the physics and clinical implementation of direct digital radiography (DR) and computed radiography (CR), with emphasis on procesing algorithms and image softcopy optimization, including the QC of PACS monitors. Experience in mammography, ultrasound and clinical MRI physics, as defined by the American College of Radiology, is also desirable.
