RADPAC Update

As of March 4, 2005, RADPAC has raised $108,860. The 2005-2006 election cycle is already shaping up to be both competitive and expensive. Now, more than ever, RADPAC will need resources to create opportunities for access to key legislators, which is critically important to the effort in educating policy makers about the issues that impact the radiology profession.

In addition to the 20% participation goal among ACRa members, the RADPAC Board set a goal to raise $2 million over the 2-year period in this election cycle. While reaching the $1 million mark during the 2003-2004 election cycle elevated RADPAC to a top 5 ranking among health professional PACs, RADPAC will need to get to the $2 million mark in order to get close to the #1 ranking among all health professional PACs.

Moore came from Charlotte, NC, to attend the North Carolina Society Inauguration Ball, and Borgstede came from Colorado to represent the ACR at the National Republican Senatorial Committee Inauguration Gala.
