New Economic Products
The ACR Economics and Health Policy Department has several exciting new products under development. Planned for release this fall are: AMA/ACR Clinical Examples, a coding guide jointly developed by the American Medical Association and the ACR; radiology is the first specialty to develop a coding product with the AMA.
Nuclear Medicine Coding User's Guide, available in print on CD-ROM, a new publication.
ASTRO/ACR Guide to Radiation Oncology Coding 2005, available in print and on CD-ROM. This guide is revised and updated from an earlier edition.
Following the success of the business education course held during the 2004 ACR annual meeting, the College will offer additional business courses in 2005. Designed to enhance the practice management skills of radiologists, financial and business experts will guide the curriculuum. The courses will be held January 29-30 and March 5-6, 2005, and again at the 2005 annual meeting in April.
