DC Office's First Fundraiser, With Rep. Mike Rogers, July 20, 2004
On July 20, RADPAC hosted its first fundraising event in ACR’s new Washington, DC, office at 1701 Pennsylvania Ave, honoring Rep. Mike Rogers (R-MI) and benefiting his leadership political action committee, the Mike R Fund. Representative Rogers sits on the Energy and Commerce Health Subcommittee and also serves as the finance director for the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC). Representative Rogers is recognized as a rising star in the House leadership and was just appointed co-chairman of Battleground 2004 for the NRCC, a program designed to raise money from Republican Members of Congress to be spent on races around the country.
Approximately 20 guests attended the event and more than $12,000 was raised. This will be the first of many events that will be hosted by RADPAC for radiology’s friends in Congress
