State Government Relations Communications
Along with the ACR Advocate, the ACR produces two publications that address state legislative and regulatory issues: the State Legislative Network and the ACR E-Bulletin.
The State Legislative Network
Designed as a resource for chapters and key government relations representatives involved with the ACR, the State Legislative Network is an electronic publication distributed to approximately 1,000 members.
It features brief summaries of state legislative issues in an easy-to-read format. Because the publication delivers time-sensitive information, it will be distributed by e-mail once every two weeks.
The State Legislative Network resides on the ACR Web site; find it by clicking on Advocacy and ACRa from the home page (www.acr.org), then State Government Relations, and State Legislative Network.
If you would like to receive a link to the publication by e-mail, please contact Brad Short at (800) 227-5463, ext. 4975, or brads@acr.org.
The ACR E-Bulletin
The ACR E-Bulletin is a monthly electronic publication that delivers news from various ACR departments to all members. In the area of state legislation and regulation, the ACR E-Bulletin features success stories of chapters that implemented effective strategies to address legislative issues and provides detailed descriptions of chapters' state advocacy efforts. The ACR E-Bulletin also presents updates and reports from the newly formed State Government Relations Committee.
The ACR E-Bulletin is posted on the ACR Web site, and the link to a new issue is e-mailed to members monthly. If the College does not have your e-mail address, send it to membership@acr.org along with your 8-digit member ID number or call (800) 347-7748. To include your chapter's success story in an upcoming ACR E-Bulletin, contact Brad Short.
The ACR Web Site
