Exercise your power of choice. Measure your performance!
Introduction
These engaging, interactive, online activities allow you to choose imaging examinations based upon the ACR's Appropriateness
Criteria® (AC). Patients are presented as cases with descriptive symptoms and a medical history, and you select the correct
exam based upon the recommendations outlined in the evidence-based, ACs. Some questions ask you to rate the typical exams
from highest to lowest Relative Radiation Level. This allows practice on recommended effective radiation doses and encourages
you to consider radiation exposure (and other contraindications) when recommending or approving imaging exams. Instant feedback
is given and complete discussion of the rationales is provided by the detailed text of the Appropriateness Criteria®, included as a
document within the activity. Test yourself in the risk-free mode and see your scores displayed at the end of each section. If you
purchase the EARN module, you can finish 10 quiz questions online and claim CME and SAM credit for completing this module and
immediately print your credit certificates.
