National Radiology Database Registry (NRDR)

Comparing practice performance to regional and national benchmarks is an important tool for improving the quality of patient care. ACR's NRDR - the National Radiology Data Registry - will help your facility benchmark outcomes and process-of-care measures and develop quality-improvement programs.

National Mammography Database (NMD) Registry

The National Mammography Database (NMD) leverages data that radiology practices are already collecting under federal mandate by providing them with comparative information for national and regional benchmarking. Participants receive semi-annual feedback reports that include important benchmark data such as true positive rates, positive predictive value rates and recall rates.

Practice Guidelines and Technical Standards

Practice guidelines and technical standards for a variety of diagnostic, interventional, and therapeutic procedures are available to assist radiologists in their practices. New and revised documents appear in each annual edition. ACR practice guidelines and technical standards have been developed by a consensus process and address indications; quality improvement; qualifications of physicians, radiologic technologists, medical physicists, and other personnel, as appropriate; and equipment and equipment quality control.

RADPEER™

RADPEER™ is a simple, cost-effective process that allows peer review to be performed during the routine interpretation of current images. After submission of practice data to the ACR, the group chair or medical director can access the reports online at any time.

Breast Imaging Reporting and Data System® (BI-RADS®) Atlas

The richly illustrated BI-RADS® Atlas provides guidance on BI-RADS through the use of illustrated cases, sample reports, statistical definitions, and explanations for performing the mammography audit. This comprehensive guide provides standardized breast imaging terminology; a report organization; assessment structure; and a classification system for mammography, ultrasound, and MR of the breast. The BI-RADS Atlas includes the fourth edition of the mammography lexicon and audit system.

Manual on Contrast Media, 7.0 Edition

Originally developed by the ACR Committee on Drugs and Contrast Media in 1991, this guide was developed for radiologists who use iodinated contrast media in daily practice. The revised manual is now available free and is exclusively online.
