Here's How CPI Works
Six times a year, you will receive a test module covering one of the 10 categories of the American Board of Radiology examination. Each module is designed by ACR expert panels and addresses current issues in the field.
NEW CPI FORMAT: in an effort to provide you with an improved self-assessment activity, we are presenting the CPI modules in a NEW combined Module/Report format. The revised format will allow you immediate feedback and expedite the processing of cme credit. No more waiting for weeks to receive your score or the rationale information!
You should begin by answering the 50 multiple-choice and true/false questions.
Although you will have access to the answers as you work through the test, to maximize the educational benefit from this self-assessment, you should not refer to them until after you complete the evaluation section. As soon as possible after grading the test, focus on the questions you missed and reinforce your learning by viewing the complete explanations and discussions.
Once you have recorded your answers on the sheet provided, use the Scoring Key located after the final question to determine your score. Rationales and References for each question are printed following the Scoring Key.
When you have calculated your score, follow the instructions in the module to log on, record your score and claim CME/SAM credit.
