The ACR Radiology Coding Source™ is a bimonthly electronic coding and reimbursement newsletter for diagnostic and interventional radiology, radiation oncology, nuclear medicine, and ultrasound. Each bimonthly issue is available on the ACR Web site and provides functional radiology and radiation oncology economics information at your keyboard. For example, the newsletter contains featured articles on key radiology and radiation oncology coding topics and the latest information on Medicare and third-party payer policy and reimbursement. You can learn about recent Correct Coding Initiative edits implemented by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and ACR’s comments on these edits.
A Q&A section answers frequently asked coding questions. This electronic newsletter offers 1 hour of continuing education units (CEU) per issue that are recognized by the Radiology Coding Certification Board toward recertification for radiology-related coders.
