How do I download my software?

  1. A File Download box will appear. Choose "Save this file to disk" and click "OK"
  2. Choose where to save the file and click "Save".
    Note: Remember the location, as you will need this later. We recommend saving files to your Desktop, but you may save it anywhere on your PC.
  3. Find the software you downloaded on your PC and identify the file extension by looking at the last few characters of the file name (e.g. .exe, .zip, .prc, etc).

How do I install an .exe file to my Windows Mobile device?

Note: Please make sure that your ActiveSync USB cable is connected to your Pocket PC throughout the entire installation process.

  1. After completing your purchase, you will be directed to a purchase confirmation page. From this page, click the "Download Now" button to start the download procedure.
  2. As soon as the "Save As" window opens, choose "Desktop" and click "Save."
  3. The file you downloaded is an executable file. Double click the file on your desktop and the software will install on your computer
  4. After installation is complete, the program will automatically connect to your Pocket PC and install the program to the device.
  5. Once the download is complete, click "OK."
  6. On your device, locate your new software application and click to launch.

How do I install software to my device?

Note: Please make sure your Palm device is plugged into the HotSync cable/cradle before proceeding with the software installation.

  1. After completing your purchase, you will be directed to a purchase confirmation page. From this page, the "Download Now" button to start the download procedure.
  2. A File Download box will appear next. Choose "Save".
  3. Choose where to save the file and click "Save." We recommend saving files to your Desktop for easy access, but you may save it anywhere on your PC (just be sure to remember where the file is saved).
  4. Once the file is transferred, double click the software icon that appears on your desktop. (If you saved the file in a place other than the desktop, you will need to retrieve the file from that folder). This will open the palmOne Quick Install tool with the software listed inside.
  5. Press the HotSync button on your device.
  6. Check your handheld's main applications screen once the HotSync operation is complete to confirm that the application is now installed on your handheld.
  7. On your device, locate your new software application and click to launch.
