AMA/ACR Clinical Examples in Radiology
The ACR and the American Medical Association (AMA) collaborated on this educational quarterly publication, Clinical Examples in Radiology, a practical guide to correct coding. Its goal is to provide authoritative advice and guidance to help professional coders, physician practices, and billing services understand the correct practical application of CPT® codes in the daily process of radiology coding. The ACR is the first medical specialty to collaborate with the AMA to produce such a publication aimed at physicians and coding specialists. Nationally recognized experts in radiology coding provide the content for this publication. Each issue typically contains 12 pages and five sections, along with three to four clinical examples, coding Q&A, a documentation challenge, a 10-question self-quiz, and two interim ACR Bulletin articles a year. Readers can obtain 2 CEU credits for completing the self-quiz.
Nuclear Medicine Coding User's Guide 2010
This guide includes the new and revised nuclear medicine CPT® and HCPCS Level II codes for 2008 (brain imaging, PET, PET/CT, and supplies). A short paragraph about each code helps you select the most appropriate code for the nuclear medicine study performed. In addition to specific CPT® and HCPCS Level II codes, this guide includes a glossary of terms and an expanded Q&A section addressing frequently asked questions. Radiopharmaceutical tables will help you better understand coding for radiopharmaceutical supply items.
Ultrasound Coding User's Guide (2010)
