    State radiological societies continue to be at the forefront in working with the ACR on the radiologist assistant (RA) issue. During the 2011 legislative session Utah, Texas and California planned to pursue RA legislation. Vermont was successful in passing RA Legislation in May, 2010.

    The Board of Chancellors (BOC) is the executive body of the ACR and conducts its business and affairs in accordance with ACR bylaws. The BOC implements programs and activities to accomplish policy goals through commissions, committees and special task forces formed to work on specific issues and needs.
