Notice: The NRDR Steering Committee has decided to phase out the ICE registry. The last date for accepting new registrants will be December 31, 2014. Active participants will have up to two years after that date to finish their projects. The registry will be discontinued completely on December 31, 2016.
Welcome to the SAR/ACR Computed Tomography IV Contrast Extravasation (ICE) PQI project. This project has been "Qualified by the American Board of Radiology in meeting the criteria for practice quality improvement (PQI) toward the purpose of fulfilling requirements in the ABR Maintenance of Certification Program" (as of November 26, 2008). Additionally, this project collects data from multiple institutions across the United States and is recorded in the ACR's National Radiology Data Registry (NRDR). These data will provide a meaningful way to compare your practice performance in areas of quality and patient safety with national published benchmarks.
The Introduction outlines the steps you will need to take to participate and receive ABR 'credit' for your participation in this project.
