Harvey Neiman, M.D., FACR, is executive director of the American College of Radiology, with more than 32,000 members, one of the largest medical specialty organizations in the world. Dr. Neiman is former chair of the ACR Board of Chancellors, ACR Commission on Ultrasound, and ACR Commission on Economics. He is an expert in health care policy and economics as well as is in cardiovascular radiology.

Dr. Neiman is certified by the American Board of Radiology and received a certificate of added qualification in vascular and interventional radiology. He is a past president of the Society of Radiologists in Ultrasound and the Radiology Advocacy Alliance and serves on the editorial board for American College of Radiology publications.

Dr. Neiman is a former chief medical officer and chair of the Radiology Department at Western Pennsylvania Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pa.. He also served as chief of Cardiovascular Radiology at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and chief of Cardiac Radiology at University Hospital in Ann Arbor, Mich.
