The AMA Section Council on Radiology is composed of state and radiological society delegates, alternate delegates, and officers participating in the policy-making process of the AMA House of Delegates. The House of Delegates is the principle legislative and policy-making body of the American Medical Association.
House of Delegates meetings are held twice a year to consider items of business brought before the association. Elections for officers, trustees, and council positions are conducted at each annual meeting, as is the inauguration of the AMA president. Business considered during interim meetings is restricted to advocacy and legislation.
