Candidates Nominated for 2008 Positions
This May at the ACR Annual Meeting and Chapter Leadership Conference (AMCLC) in Washington, D.C., the ACR Council will vote on the following slate of candidates recommended by the College Nominating Committee (CNC).
Officer Position Nominees

Board of Chancellors
The CNC recommends the following members be re-elected to the Board of Chancellors (BOC):
Manuel L. Brown, M.D., FACR, of Detroit, for a second term of two years for the slotted position on the BOC to chair the Commission on Nuclear Medicine
Paul H. Ellenbogen, M.D., FACR, of Dallas, for a second three-year term for the slotted position on the BOC to chair the Commission on Human Resources
Geoffrey G. Smith, M.D., of Casper, Wyo., for a first three-year term for the slotted position on the BOC to serve as chair of the Commission on General, Small, and Rural Practices
The CNC recommends the following members be elected to the BOC:
James A. Brink, M.D., FACR, of New Haven, Conn., for a first term of three years for the slotted position on the BOC to chair the Commission on Body Imaging
Deborah Levine, M.D., FACR, of Boston, for a first term of three years for the slotted position on the BOC to chair the Commission on Ultrasound

Selected Positions
Board of Chancellors — American Radium Society
The CNC, in consultation with the Chair of the BOC, selected Richard T. Hoppe, M.D., FACR, to serve a second three-year term on the BOC as the representative from the American Radium Society.
Board of Chancellors — American Roentgen Ray Society
The CNC, in consultation with the Chair of the BOC, selected Jonathan S. Lewin, M.D., to serve a first three-year term on the BOC as the representative from the American Roentgen Ray Society.
Private Practice Representative
Patrick J. Juenemann, M.D., FACR, of Minn., was selected for one two-year term as representative to the Intersociety Summer Conference effective July 2008.
The 11th annual election manual featuring detailed information on the candidates to be elected will be mailed to all councilors before the AMCLC 2008.
