PRRS Celebrates Radiology Centennial
The Philadelphia Roentgen Ray Society held a celebration in honor of the Centennial of Radiology on April 1 at the College of Physicians of Philadelphia.
The program featured a history of radiology which was discussed by Robert E. Campbell of Pennsylvania Hospital in his presentation "Highlights of Diagnostic Radiology in Philadelphia Since Roentgen''s Discovery of X-Rays;" and by Luther W. Brady, Jr. of Hahnemann University Hospital in his talk "Radiation Oncology - The Philadelphia View."
The event also covered radiology today and tomorrow which was covered by David C. Levin of Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in his presentation "The Practice of Radiology: Where We''ve Been and Where We''re Going" and by Mitchell D. Schnall of the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in his discussion "Radiology of the Future."
The 100 years of radiology, "The National Celebration" was featured by Otha W. Linton, ACR associate executive director.
