Around 1989, Radiology Centennial, Inc. (RCI) was created to direct the ceremonies and celebrations for the centennial of Wilhelm Roentgen's discovery of the x-ray. RCI was a combined effort by the major radiology organizations in the United States, ACR, ARRS, RSNA, and many other related businesses, organizations, and associations. It was run through the Reston, VA offices of the College. Otha Linton originally collected the files of RCI.

Subgroup 4.1: Board of Directors
The files of the Board of Directors document, among other things, the creation of RCI's organizational structure and its incorporation. Meeting files, subject files, by-laws, and the company's mission statement are included in this subgroup. They date from 1988 to 1993.
Subgroup 4.2: General Administration
This subgroup documents the general activities, operations and productions of RCI. Of particular interest is the time capsule, which includes a copy of each publication, artifact, and video enclosed in the RCI timecapsule currently located at the ACR headquarters. Also of interest is a complete copy of the "A Century of Radiology" slide series, a sixteen series set of slides that document many aspects of the history of radiology and its allied fields. Other series of include publications, articles/clippings, manuscripts, calendars/posters, photographs, videos and artifacts. Materials in this subgroup date from the late 1980s to early 1996.
Subgroup 4.3: Committees Files
The organizational structure of RCI was similar that of the College; it was divided into various task-oriented committees. This subgroup includes the files from those committees. The files date from 1990 to 1996. Committees in the subgroup are:
