H.R. 3269 Tops 100 Cosponsors, But More Needed
Although only recently introduced in the U.S. House of Representatives, the ACR has amassed 110 bipartisan cosponsors for H.R. 3269, the Diagnostic Imaging Services Access Protection Act.
If your Representative has not yet cosponsored the legislation, please contact them immediately. Visit action.acr.org, click on Take Action, enter your zip code and follow the instructions.
Congress must address multiple issues by year’s end. This includes legislation to offset the scheduled 27 percent reduction in Medicare physician reimbursement due to the flawed Sustainable Growth Rate (SGR) formula. ACR anticipated this scenario and is working with House leaders to include in any SGR bill provisions to block the CMS mandated multiple procedure payment reduction to the professional component of diagnostic imaging.
However, ACR members must make their collective voices heard to stop more imaging cuts. Urge your congressman to support H.R. 3269. Contact your member of Congress today!
