CMS Final Rule Sets Physician Self-Referral Exceptions for Electronic Prescribing, Electronic Health Records Technology
The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services issued its final rule regarding physician self-referral prohibitions and electronic prescription and health records. The rule sets forth guidelines that such arrangements must meet in order to receive exception from Stark anti-self referral prohibitions.
