Report Changes in Mammography Coverage to ACR
Please report any changes in screening mammography coverage to the ACR. With the recent changes in the U.S. Preventative Services Task Force recommendations for screening mammography, the ACR realizes that there is a great deal of confusion with regard to Medicare and private payer coverage of screening mammography. Medicare coverage has not changed as a result of these recommendations and the ACR is not aware of any private payers who have changed their coverage policies at this time.
